Hand-painted decorative porcelain jug

This decorative antique jug is 7cm tall, 5cm wide at its narrowest and 8.5cm wide on the length including handle and spout, weighing 76g. It shows a cottage core design, featuring a painting of a bird and flowers and other decorative details on the ivory base. According to the factory mark and other indication details, the jug is considered to be hard-paste porcelain made by the Grainger's Worcester porcelain company between 1805 to 1811. Based on the seam lines, the jug body and handle were probably formed separately by slip casting, then attached together. The mineral enamels and gilding were likely to be hand-pained on the lead-silicate-based glaze after the second firing.
