The book is 12.8 centimetres in length, 9.3 centimetres in width and 1.7 centimetres in thickness. The publication information printed on the book shows that the book was published in Changsha in June 1966 and was manufactured by Xinhua Printing Factory in Hunan Province.
The object consists of three components, papers, binding fabric, and cover. Four different kinds of papers were used in the book block as well as four different colours of printing ink. The book spine was designed as the square spine, including two plug cloths and five sets of threads. The cover was made of plastic with embossing lines and characters.
