This is an Islamic, boat shaped ornament originating from Pakistan. The main material is identified as brass due to its current oxidised and corrosion colouration, but also its original ‘golden colour’ as noted by the owner. The texture of the metal indicates the use of a sandcasting method for the boat components. The brass boat is attached to a stone plinth, identified as a white onyx marble due to colouration and translucency similar to onyx originating from Pakistan. This seems to have been cut from a larger slab, polished, and then the edges tapered by hand. Other materials, assumed to be outsourced mass manufactured products, such as cotton, PVC (tinsel), carbon steel, and silicone rubber are identified to be present.
