My object assessment is focused on a ceramic plant pot, purchased from a street market vendor in Thailand in 2017. The pot is in two pieces: the main body and a detached leg. Two other limbs have been detached and reattached, and dried glue is present along their rejoined edges. The pot consists of several components, including appendages and applied facial features. It is likely made from hand-formed earthenware clay with a sand and/or grog temper; a dipped or brushed gray/brown underglaze, a brushed black underglaze, and a dipped or brushed clear glaze. It was probably fired in an electric kiln within the 950-1050℃ temperature range required for earthenwares.
