Abstract: How can conservators and Museums conserve and preserve both tangible and intangible features and values associated with “sacred” objects owned by a (religious/ ethnic) community? What solutions would be the most suitable to succeed?
This poster aims to answer this perpetual dilemma by showing how the museum, the conservator and the community interfere together with sacred objects, in order to conserve their values and preserve their sustainability and integrity.
The poster is designed for conservators, museums and communities, all anxious to develop and improve the ethical approach dealing with the conservation of “sacred” objects.
